Born in Piraeus. Dr Cheirakis graduated from the medical school of the University of Athens. He completed his residency at the 2nd department of obstetrics and gynecology of the University of Athens (Aretaieion Hospital)
Dr. Cheirakis is an obstetrician – gynecologist trained in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy at the worldwide known (Clermont-Ferrand ) France

He is a founding member of Rea Maternity Hospital
