Spyros Stavrakis Kontostavlos, is an experienced Clinical Neuropsychologist, head of the neuropsychological department of Metropolitan Hospital, which ranks among the top hospitals in Greece. He is specialized in clinical neuropsychological evaluation of cognitive functions, behavior and their relationships and particularly in the application of these relationships in the diagnosis of brain disorders, mental health problems and the design of effective treatment.

Moreover, he is specialized in psychotherapy, the psychological interpretation of brain’s mental and emotional processes, mainly under a psychodynamic perspective.

He runs a successful private practice in the city of Athens, 21 Fokylidou str., Kolonaki.

His scientific research includes human risk factor in civil aviation as interaction between emotional and cognitive variables. For his research he has been awarded in the 5th European Congress of Aerospace medicine for the best scientific abstract/ poster in Oslo, Norway.
